Human being is the only natural host of Human cytomegalovirus.HCMV infection rate in the population is very high, the positive rate of HCMV antibody in Chinese adults is up to 90%.The virus can spread from mother to child, through contact, through sex, and through iatrogenic transmission.

Production Principle:

This kit is used for quantitative detection of human cytomegalovirus nucleic acid in human serum or plasma in vitro.By using real-time fluorescence PCR technology, human cytomegalovirus DNA was detected by detecting changes in fluorescence signal with specific primers and probes selected from human cytomegalovirus genome UL85 gene.
